Employer Contribution Rates

The Retirement System certifies each employer's contribution rate annually with a letter to the designated agent.
The designated agent signs and returns the letter to the Retirement System.

Rates provided below are for information purposes only. If you have any specific questions about your employer contribution rate, please call the InfoLine at 1-888-275-5737.

KPERS Contribution Rates

Death & Disability Rate

KPERS contribution rates do not include the Death and Disability Insurance rate. The employer must remit
this rate in addition to the KPERS employer contribution rate.

  • Death & Disability Rate: 1.00%*

*There is a moratorium on KPERS Death & Disability premiums from 3/1/09 to 11/30/09.
