The Legislature is not in session today.

This week the House passed SB 37 (Foreign adversary divestment) and SB 291 (Statewide cybersecurity). The Senate passed HB 2711 (Working after retirement and $6,000 retiree death benefit).

The Senate has sent SB 291 to a conference committee. SB 37 and HB 2711 are waiting for procedural motions, but they are also likely headed to a conference committee next week. HB 2103/SB 23 (Alternative investments cap) is eligible for consideration in conference committee because the policy has passed both chambers.

The Legislature's schedule next week will primarily be conference committees meeting and voting to approve conference committee reports. There is no set schedule for conference committees to meet, but when we know about upcoming meetings I'll include them in the daily email.
